Virtual Healthcare Services
Some of the services provided by Choice Family Health Care can be provided by Virtual Healthcare. This is also known as Telehealth.
This is a convenient way for you to have medical visit with a provider using your device such as a smartphone, tablet or computer.
It's so easy!
All you need is your device with a camera, speakers and microphone.
You will also need is a good internet connections and a quiet place to join the connection.
How do I schedule a Virtual Healthcare appointment?
1. Call our office to schedule your appointment time.

2. We will talk to you about connecting to the provider with a button on our website.
3. When it is time for your appointment, just click the "Telehealth" button on the website.
4. You will be taken to a virtual waiting room with a "Welcome Screen".
5. Once the provider is ready to see you they will automatically join you to the connection.
What services are available for Virtual Healthcare?
We offer the following services using Virtual Healthcare at this time.
1. Changing your birth control method (example: depo shot to pill or one type of pill to another)
2. If you have visited our office in person within the last 2 months and have reoccuring symptoms (example: recurrent yeast infection or bacterial vaginois infection)
3. If you have complicated questions regarding your method of birth control (and you do not need to be examined).
I have never used Virtual Healthcare. How is it different than an office visit?
We try to keep a virtual healthcare visit similar to an office visit. You will still see your provider but it will be on your screen.
If you have any charges for service, they will be the same as a standard visit to our clinic.
Remember, we offer a sliding fee scale, accept many health insurances and can see you if you don't have insurance.
Your visit may even be free based on your income and household size. You may also be eligible for programs we offer that cover your costs.
